Jasper Police investigated an assault on Tuesday afternoon. A report filed by Sergeant Clint Fowler said it was reported shortly after 3:00 at house in the 300 block of Dennis Drive. The report said the victim had minor injuries and did wish to file criminal charges against the suspect who had already fled the scene. The names of those involved were not immediately available.
