A longtime community leader of Pineland and a member of the City Council there has died. Patricia "Patsy" Diane Kilcrease passed away at her home on Friday at the age of 74. An employee of the West Sabine School District for over 40, years, Kilcrease was very active in the Sabine County Youth Foundation and the Pineland Service Club as well as the Pineland First Baptist Church. A native of Kirbyville, Mrs. Kilcrease had lived in Pineland for many years. Funeral services for Mrs. Kilcrease will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday at the Pineland Baptist Church Life Center at 112 Timberland Highway. under the direction of Star Funeral Home of Hemphill.
