SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Just before 4:30 p.m. on July 18, emergency units from Caddo Fire District 6, Caddo Fire District 4, and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a collision at the intersection of Fountainbleau Road and Mansfield Road. The crash involved a pickup truck traveling southbound on Mansfield Road and a USPS mail truck crossing from Fountainbleau to the northbound side of Mansfield Road, according to officials with Caddo Fire District 4. When the Ford truck hit the mail truck, the pickup truck rolled over at least once before becoming upright on the side of the road. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and survived. Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
