Jasper firefighters were busy late Thursday morning working a vehicle fire. It happened shortly before the noon hour in the 800 block of Farm to Market Road 3414, just west of Jasper. The first firefighters on scene reported that a pickup truck was fully engulfed in flames, and the people in the truck had safely gotten out. They had the blaze put out a short time later.
