One person underwent medical treatment as the result of the injuries they received when an early model Toyota Corolla and a Jeep collided shortly after noon on Thursday in the 200 block of West Gibson Street in front of the Southside Bank.
The Jasper Police report said Ester Adams, 62, of Jasper, was driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla and was hit from behind by a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, driven by James Baxter, 58, of Spurger.
Adams was taken by ambulance to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.
The volunteers of the Jasper Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. However, no fire resulted from the incident.
