One man is hospitalized and another man is jailed following a late Thursday morning stabbing in Beaumont. It happened at about 10:30 on Forrest Street, just west of downtown.
Beaumont Police say the victim was stabbed in the back, and they found and arrested the suspect, 46-year-old Jesse Griffin, one block away.
Police said the suspect approached the victim and started a confrontation with him before stabbing him.
The names of the victim has not yet been released.
