One person is dead and three others are injured following a Monday evening crash in Nacogdoches. KTRE 9 News in Lufkin is reporting that it happened at about 7:00 in the 45oo block of East Main Street, which is also State Highway 21, just before the southeast city limits. The report said a Dodge pickup truck slowed to make a turn and was rear-ended by a Ford pickup truck which was pulling a trailer with a car on it. A 13-year-old passenger in the Dodge pickup truck died a short time later in a Nacogdoches hospital, while another teenage passenger was flown by medical helicopter to a Tyler hospital with life-threatening injuries. The adult driver of the Dodge pickup and another teenage passenger had non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford pickup was not hurt. The names of those involved have not yet been released by Nacogdoches Police.
