ANDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-0 tornado hit Anderson County Tuesday.
An NWS survey team from Fort Worth was in Anderson County on Wednesday to survey damage. According to the team, an EF-0 tornado hit northeastern Anderson County near Frankston.
The maximum windspeeds for this tornado was 85 mile per hour. Its path was 4.8 miles long with a width of 300 yars, the NWS said.
Several crews were out in Frankston to work on cleaning up the debris and damage left by the tornado. There was reported damage to homes, fences and many trees had been knocked over.
One person has allegedly been injured due to a tree falling on their house. However, there is no word on their condition.
