Beaumont Police announced Wednesday that they have arrested two individuals who are accused of shooting eight people since Thursday, May 1st. Additionally, police say gunfire has also struck and damaged multiple houses and vehicles.
According to investigators, it all stemmed from a disagreement between two groups.
Police say despite a lack of cooperation from the victims or witnesses, they were able to identify the suspects as Jordan Washington, 27, and Wesley Davis, 20, both residents of Beaumont. They’ve each been charged with Deadly Conduct and police say more arrests may be coming very soon.

May 1st - 3255 Elmira: Two individuals shot
May 4th - 2525 N 11th St (Grand Hotel): One individual shot
May 4th - 1700 block of Glasshouse: Two individuals shot
May 4th - 500 block of E Virginia: One individual shot and a house struck by gunfire
May 5th - 4600 block of Maddox: Two individuals shot, multiple vehicles and apartment building struck by gunfire
May 7th - 500 block of E. Virginia: House struck by gunfire
