No injuries following early Saturday morning auto crash west of Jasper

Police and firemen said it was a miracle that no one was injured in a two vehicle auto accident that occurred on Saturday morning west of Jasper. Police, firemen and other emergency crews were dispatched to the location on Highway 63 west, near the intersection of Farm to Market Road 2799 shortly after 8:00, when it was reported that a Dodge pickup truck and a Ford sedan had collided almost head on, causing the truck to veer off the highway and strike the gate of a nearby residence. The driver of the Ford was trapped in the vehicle but it only took the volunteers of the Jasper Fire Department a few minutes to free her from the vehicle. Even though both vehicles were severely damaged and debris was scattered across both lanes of the Highway, no one was injured in the crash.
