Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby announced Tuesday that a man who has been wanted since July of 2023 has been captured in Colorado. Sheriff Burby says 43-year-old Thomas Lee Smith, Jr., also known as “T-Bo Smith”, had been named in an arrest warrant on a felony charge of Theft of Property. There’s no word on when Smith will be extradited back to Newton County.
