NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - Following a two-month investigation, a convicted felon from Natchitoches has been accused of violating a protective custody order while incarcerated, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office. NPSO said Jack D. Nobles, 49, was recently arrested by their detectives while incarcerated in the Caddo Correctional Center for one count of terrorizing and 193 counts of violation of a protective order. NPSO said the charges stem from Nobles utilizing other inmate jail phone account numbers, calling a woman over 1,000 times and making alleged threats to do her bodily harm when released from jail. NPSO said Nobles has a lengthy criminal history in Louisiana, Texas and Georgia, which included several prior domestic abuse charges against women. The investigation remains active and ongoing. Nobles remains in the Caddo Correctional Center.
