NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - A Natchitoches man has been arrested on several charges, according to the Natchitoches Police Department.
Jordan Hamilton, 17, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, resisting an officer, aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal carrying of a weapon and unlawful handling of a machine gun.
NPD responded on May 10 around 10 p.m. to the Rowena Street and Sixth Street area regarding gunshots. A citizen nearby said three suspects were in the Roy Drive area.
Hamilton was identified as one of the suspects. Officers recovered one Omega P1 Rifle, one Glock Pistol, one 60-round magazine and one 30-round magazine.
Hamilton was booked into the Jackson Parish Detention Center.
