Multiple injuries were reported to have occurred in a three-vehicle auto accident near the construction area of the bridge crossing Dam B on Highway 190 between Jasper and Woodville on Sunday afternoon.
The volunteers of the Beech Grove Fire Department were dispatched to the location just east of the Neches River shortly before 5:00, when it was reported that the crash had occurred and they were soon joined by other emergency crews and the volunteers of the Dam B Fire Department.
What caused the accident is still not known as State Troopers continue to investigate the crash which is said to included two pickup trucks and a van.
The vehicles were occupied BY seven people and when it was said and done four of the individuals, which included one adult and three children were transported by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital.
The accident occurred in a construction zone which has been in place for some time as the Texas Department of Transportation and it’s contractors continue to build a new bridge.
The section of highway has been the scene of many accidents which have resulted in many injuries and even at least one death.
