KTRE 9 News in Lufkin is reporting that a motorcyclist was killed in a Thursday night crash with an SUV in southeast Nacogdoches. It happened at about 8:00 on the Highway 224 Loop at Center Road. The report said Shawn Prichard, 45, of Nacogdoches, was the motorcyclist and he hit the SUV when the driver pulled out in front of him. The SUV was driven by Araceli Esparza, 18, of Katy. Prichard was rushed to a hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
