A motorcyclist was seriously injured and later died in an early Sunday evening crash. It happened at about 5:30 on Farm to Market Road 252, just north of the Erin Community between Jasper and Kirbyville.
The Texas Department of Public Safety later released a report stating that at approximately 5:51 p.m., a 2016 Can-Am Spyder was traveling south on Farm to Market Road 252 and reportedly left the road to the right, struck a culvert, and overturned multiple times.
Troopers said the rider, 76-year-old Connie Kyle of Jasper, was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time after his arrival.
