ROBELINE, La. (KALB) - A milk delivery truck driver was airlifted to a trauma center after being run over in Robeline, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Robeline police, along with NPSO and medical responders arrived at the scene around 11:47 a.m. Thursday morning regarding a medical emergency at a parking lot of a business in the 9000 block of Hwy 6.
NPSO said a milk delivery truck was stopped near the fuel pumps at the business. The driver left the vehicle and was standing near the front, when the vehicle started to roll, hit the driver, and continued traveling across the parking lot, across Hwy 6 and came to a stop near the Old Robeline Methodist Church.
An Air Evac Lifeteam responded and landed at the Robeline ballpark to take the 67-year-old driver to a nearby trauma center with moderate injuries.
