Beaumont Police say the body of a man was found in a canal late Tuesday morning.
The discovery was made at about 10:30 in the canal that runs underneath Interstate 10 near Washington Boulevard.
The name of the man has not yet been released and a Justice of the Peace has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
