A Jasper County deputy captured a man with a parole violation warrant on Tuesday night in Evadale. The report said Lieutenant Chad Ainsworth responded shortly before 10:00 to Knight’s Automotive on County Road 859 on a report of suspicious activity. According to the report, Ainsworth arrived to find three people on the property, one of which was the wanted man, 62-year-old Leo Scott Oken, of Evadale. Oken was placed into custody and taken to the Jasper County jail.
