The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas has announced that a man who was already in federal prison serving a 23 year sentence for Possession of Child Pornography was caught distributing more child pornography from within the federal prison facility between Beaumont and Nederland. Federal prosecutors say 42-year-old Jonathan Lee Edwards, of Houston, has now received an additional 21 years and 10 months which will begin when he finishes his current 23 year sentence. According to prosecutors, Edwards was using email on a cell phone, and investigators found 477 images of child pornography in it. Edwards will be 85-years-old when he finishes serving all of his prison time.
