Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard says a man who was wanted in Jasper County was found and arrested in Newton County on Wednesday.
According to Sheriff Havard, Wendell Glenn Poplin was reported as missing and was possibly located at a house on County Road 4056, between Bleakwood and Trout Creek. Havard said his deputies alog with Newton Police Chief Will Jackson went to that location and found Poplin.
Poplin was wanted in Jasper County on a charge of Probation Violation for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
