Man stacked trouble on top of trouble when he arrived at the Jasper County Jail

A Buna man was already in trouble, but then he added more trouble for himself when he arrived at the Jasper County Jail over the weekend. Chief Deputy Scotty Duncan says on Saturday deputies arrested 41-year-old Jake Neal for a Failure to Appear warrant. Once in the jail during the book-in process, Duncan said it was discovered that Neal had concealed narcotic drugs, marijuana, and a meth pipe. According to Duncan jailers ended up getting into a scuffle with Neal, but they were able to remove the objects from his possession. In addition to his original charge of Failure to Appear, Duncan said deputies also added charges of Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair and Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility. Neal’s total combined bond was set at $20,000.00 by Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Mike Smith.
