Man hospitalized after falling into wood chipper at lumberyard in Bullard

BULLARD, Texas (KLTV) - A man has been transported to a local hospital after being pulled out from a wood-chipper he fell in Monday morning. According to the Community Outreach Coordinator for Smith County Emergency Services District 2, Nikki Simmons, firefighters and EMS were dispatched to a lumberyard at 49759 Hwy 69 in Bullard after they received reports of a man who had fallen into a wood chipper. The man was later freed from the heavy machinery and transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities did not immediately comment on the extent of his injuries.
