The Beaumont Police Department is investigating a one-car crash that claimed the life of one person Saturday afternoon.
BPD Community Relations Sgt. Tom Swope confirming with KFDM/FOX4 one person was killed following the crash that happened on the Eastex Freeway service road near Dowlen Road.
Sgt. Swope says the crash victim was transported to the hospital where the victim died.
No other details have been released at this time.
