UPSHUR COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - An exterior part of the roof of Sharon A. Richardson Elementary collapsed during the storm on Saturday.
Union Hill ISD has announced classes will be canceled Monday and Tuesday due to the damage. The fallen roof could be seen with brick columns that had sheared near their bases still attached.
The ISD said they plan to resume school on Wednesday, but that is subject to change.
