SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A fatal stabbing happened in Shreveport early Monday morning (Feb. 12). The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Aaron Paris, 37. He was found stabbed outside his home in the 2200 block of Roosevelt Avenue around 7:45 a.m. The coroner’s office says he had been stabbed several times and was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators determined that Paris and 25-year-old Shagail Wynn were arguing before the incident. Wynn was later arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder in connection to the stabbing. The Shreveport Police Department is investigating the death, which marks the ninth homicide in the parish so far in 2024. An autopsy has been ordered.
