A Sherman man was arrested in Polk County on Wednesday after law enforcement there say they discovered he was wanted after he crashed his pickup truck. Polk County Today is reporting that it occurred shortly before 8:00am on Farm to Market Road 3126 North, which is between the city of Livingston and Lake Livingston. The report said 45-year-old James Allen Baker apparently fell asleep at the wheel, and his truck went off the roadway, jumped a culvert, and then crashed through a gate. Baker wasn’t injured, but he was arrested after deputies and troopers discovered that he was wanted on two charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm. At last word he remained in the Polk County Jail in Livingston.
