The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department says a man in Evadale went to jail on a drug charge on Tuesday morning.
The report said Lieutenant Chad Ainsworth responded to a report of an intoxicated man on Highway 105 near the Dollar General store.
The report said 60-year-old William Floyd Smith, of Evadale, had methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Smith was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
