LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - On Sunday a man was shot in the 300 block of Hudson Avenue in Longview, police said.
Just before 9 a.m., officers responded to a shooting report and when they arrived, the found a man who had gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital by Longview Fire Department. His injuries were non-life-threatening, according to Longview police.
As police investigated, they learned that this was a domestic issue, and that the shooter was allegedly Kaylon Thomas, 39.
Investigators got an arrest warrant for Thomas, and he was taken into custody. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injuries, both second-degree felony charges.
