Jasper Police arrested a man and they’re seeking a warrant on a woman after an assault at a motel. A report filed by Sergeant Jimmy Neel said that he responded to the incident at about 11:30 Monday night at the Rodeway Inn on Highway 190 East. The report said that 53-year-old Jimmy Gaspard, of Kirbyville, was arrested. There was no information about the victim.
