A Sabine County man went to jail late Monday morning after a woman said he physically assaulted her. It happened shortly after 11:00 at a house on County Road 230 in the Brookeland area.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department report, deputies located and arrested the suspect, 60-year-old Noah Kincel, of Hemphill. He was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
The report said Kincel was also named in a warrant in Sabine County for Motion to Revoke Probation on an original charge of Aggravated Assault.
