LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Authorities have released the name of the man allegedly involved in a standoff at a Sulphur convenience store over the weekend.
Roche Royalle Jackson, 28, was arrested on two counts of failure to report the commission of certain felonies, possession of machine guns, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was also arrested on a detainer for the Lake Charles Police Department and a parole revocation.
Video sent to KPLC showed law enforcement with guns drawn outside a convenience store on Ruth Street on Sunday.
Jackson is being held without bond at Calcasieu Correctional Center. We have requested his booking photo.
