A Jasper man went to jail early Tuesday evening after the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department said he assaulted and injured his girlfriend. The incident occurred on County Road 89.
The report said after 19-year-old Ethan Hebert injured the girl, he kept her from calling 911, and he also busted out one of her car windows.
Hebert was arrested and charged with Assault-Family Violence, Interference with Emergency Assistance, and Criminal Mischief.
