A Dallas man was arrested in Harrison County Thursday after leading law enforcement on a chase following an alleged kidnapping.
According to our sister station KSLA in Shreveport, the incident started just before 9 a.m. on Lakeshore Drive when a woman called police to say she had been forced into a car at gunpoint by a man, identified as Nathaniel Roberson, 69, of Dallas.
The victim was able to stay on the phone with dispatchers, enabling law enforcement to locate the man’s vehicle. Roberson then led police on a chase into East Texas, KSLA reports, before surrendering to law enforcement in Harrison County.
Roberson taken into custody and booked into the Harrison County Jail. He is being held on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
