A man and woman went to jail Sunday after Jasper County deputies say they were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The report said Sheriff Chuck Havard received a call late Sunday afternoon about a suspicious vehicle on County Road 54 and a deputy went to the area and stopped the car.
Arrested were Richard Kirkland, 45, of Jasper and Trista Frazier, 41, of Newton.
Kirkland was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Frazier was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
