KFDM 6 News is reporting that a man has admitted to investigators that he stole wire from an Entergy sub-station. The resulting damage cost the company nearly $16,000.00 and also resulted in them having to cancel a planned project. It happened in August at the Amelia Bulk Sub-Station on Old Sour Lake Road. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department says 37-year-old Mark Anthony Campise, Jr., who has addresses in Beaumont and Bridge City, has been charged with Criminal Mishief and Magistrate Judge Marc DeRouen has set his bond at $5,000.00. If convicted, Campise faces up to 2 years in state prison and a fine up to $10,000.00.
