The man who Beaumont Police say recently stole a work truck and trailer, and then escaped on foot after a pursuit and crash on Interstate 10 in Orange County, has been taken into custody in Sabine County. The suspect is identified as Hemphill resident Robert Tunnell, and he’s now in the Sabine County Jail under a local charge of Aggravated Robbery, with bond set at $30,000.00. However, Tunnell still faces charges in both Jefferson and Orange Counties for the August 4th vehicle theft and pursuit.
