What was reported to be an injury accident near Buna on Thursday fortunately turned out to have no injuries. It happened at about 4:30pm on Farm to Market Road 1004 at County Road 835. Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said that Aliah Hernandez, 18, of Buna, was driving a 2010 Mercedes Benz on County Road 835 and she failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign. Clark said Hernandez pulled out in front of a 2011 Toyota passenger car on FM 1004, which was driven by 27-year-old Conner Galley, of Kirbyville, and the two vehicles collided. Sergeant Clark said Hernandez received a citation for Failure to Yield Right-of-Way at a Stop Sign.
