LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Lufkin police have upgraded the charge for a Lufkin man accused of killing a teenager Tuesday evening.
Police say Julious Griffin, 26, claimed self-defense when he shot Jaime Windom, 16, in the 100 block of Percy Simond Street.
Windom died early Thursday. An autopsy completed on Friday revealed the cause of death to be injuries sustained from being shot in the legs.
