LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) — A Lufkin man died following a fiery collision into an underpass at the intersection of Ellen Trout Drive and Kurth Drive Saturday afternoon.
According to Lufkin police, the 52-year-old man was driving a Ford F-150 and struck a concrete pillar around 4 p.m. The driver was ejected and the pickup caught on fire.
The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, died at a Lufkin hospital.
