LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - The Lufkin Mall will be closed until a break in the water main can be repaired. According to a post on the mall’s Facebook page, a water main break has forced the mall to close Tuesday. The water main break has impacted the mall’s fire suppression system. As per city code, the mall cannot operate until the fire suppression system is back online. According to the mall, crews are working on repairing the line and they expect to be open Wednesday.
