LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - The Lufkin Fire Department rescued a woman from her truck Monday morning after it rolled and was crushed in a wreck.
The department said the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. on U.S. 69 South near the Lufkin city limits. The truck, along with a Nissan car, were both driving north when the Nissan attempted to change lanes, clipping the back of the truck and causing it to roll.
The woman driving the truck was alert when paramedics arrived. She was taken to a hospital and later discharged. Neither the driver nor the passenger in the Nissan were taken to the hospital.
