BOSSIER CITY, La. - Around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were requested by the Bossier City Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that happened on Venecia Drive in Bossier City, near the Villaggio Apartments.
Investigators are still working to process the scene and gather further information.
One person was shot and has been taken to a local hospital for treatment. No officers were harmed during the incident.
