Fire has destroyed a restaurant in Livingston. Polk County Today is reporting that the blaze began at about io:4o Wednesday night in the kitchen of "The Mason Jar", located on South Point Drive, which is where Highway 59 and Business 59 converge. The report cited witnesses as saying that employees were cleaning when the fire started, and they then evacuated the 4,000 square foot building. The Livingston Fire Department was assisted in battling the blaze by firefighters from Scenic Loop and Onalaska.
