Officials with Nacogdoches County confirm that crews are working a gas well fire on Wednesday evening.
Sheriff Jason Bridges said that it is believed a lightning strike is the likely cause of a fire at a gas well on County Road 350. Nacodgdoches firefighters and the sheriff’s office are both at the scene, working to secure the area.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
The sheriff will update with more information later, if possible, he said.
