KTRE in Lufkin is reporting that a resident of Kirbyville died on Thursday in a two vehicle auto accident that occurred in Zavalla, in nearby Angelina County.
According to the report,Tracy Barrett, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Highways 63 and 147 at around 4:00 p.m.
The story by KTRE said the accident occurred when a Dodge pick up truck which was traveling on Highway 63 turned onto Highway 147 in the path of a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Barrett.
The name of the driver of the Dodge has not been released.
