JPD looking into possible suspects in armed robbery cases

Jasper Police Captain Mike Poindexter said Monday that officers are looking into some people" as possible suspects in two recent armed robberies. The first crime occurred shortly after midnight on Monday, February 13th at the JOC Stop Convenience Store at 645 South Wheeler Street. In that case, police said a black male wearing all black clothing robbed the store at gunpoint. The second crime occurred shortly after 9:oopm on Tuesday, February 14th at the Quick Way Convenience Store at 2147 North Wheeler Street. In that case, police said three males robbed the store at gunpoint and then forced the clerk into a back room before they fled.
