Wednesday made exactly six months since Joshua Ian Larkin went missing in Newton County. It was November 17th, 2022, when the 38-year-old left his mother’s home and told her that he was going hunting at a location on Private Road 725 in the Call Community. Larkin has never been seen or heard from since. His vehicle was found in that area, and Newton County deputies along with Trout Creek volunteer firefighters conducted search operations. They even brought in a bloodhound and deputies from Vernon and Beauregard Parishes but found no sign of the man.
