Jasper Police went to an apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon intending to arrest a woman with felony warrants, and they ended up arresting her and a man.
The report said officers went to Jasper Manor Apartments on West Childers Street to arrest 42-year-old Tracee Fletcher.
However, the report said officers noticed Christopher Collins watching them as he discarded items. The report said those items were marijuana and a methamphetamine pipe with meth in it.
Collins was placed into custody and officers then found Fletcher inside an apartment and arrested her.
Collins was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana.
Fletcher was charged with Theft of Property with 2 or more previous convictions, and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, meaning that she had been driving a vehicle without insurance.
