JASPER, Texas (KTRE) - Police were searching for a 27-year-old who went missing after being dropped off for a shift at Walmart. On Monday, he was seen at a restaurant and put in contact with his family by investigators. Jonathon Bass was reported missing by his family on Friday, according to the Jasper Police Department. The family said they dropped him off to work a shift at Walmart at 10 a.m. on Feb. 1, but it seemed he never went to work since he wasn’t there when they went to pick him up at 7 p.m. On Monday, police said they were contacted by someone who had seen Bass at McDonald’s. Officers were able to locate him there, and they contacted his immediate family. Investigators followed up to ensure his safety, police said.
